CONFIRMATION 2011

This year, we will be offering confirmation on Sunday nights. The class is

designed for middle school students who have not been through a confirmation

class before. It is open to any such students in grades 6-8, though we

anticipate that most of the students will be 6th graders as our own 7th and

8th graders have already been through confirmation in years past.

We will hold an orientation session on Sunday, September 18 at 6:00 pm here

at the church. The first session, a kick-off party, will be the following

Sunday, September 25, but the location is still to be determined.

Please spread the word to any family you know of who might have a young

person who wants to participate.

Our confirmation class is a time for our youth to learn of the history and beliefs of our church, as well as Christianity in general. During this time, the ordinands will begin their journey into confirming their understanding and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in their lives, and making a commitment to follow Him throughout their lives.

We begin confirmation for those youth who are beginning the 6^th grade, but are always open to 7^th and 8^th grade youth as well.
